We read the 2,160 newest car ads on AutoDiler, which listed 31,472 cars in total, on 25 September 2026, and analysed the 2,158 with a price. These are asking prices, not sale prices, so there is room to negotiate.

The market leans towards German brands: Volkswagen had 515 of the ads, Audi 310, Mercedes-Benz 215 and BMW 166. Most cars were offered in Podgorica, with 966 ads, followed by Nikšić with 288, Bar with 166 and Budva with 104.

Only 181 cars were offered below 3,000 euros, while 676 were priced between 10,000 and 20,000 euros. Diesel dominates, with 1,807 of the priced ads, against 255 petrol cars, 77 hybrids and 6 electric cars. What should you check before you pay?
- The chassis number (VIN) on the car matches the registration certificate, and the seller is the registered owner or has a power of attorney.
- The registration and technical inspection are valid, and the compulsory insurance is paid.
- There is a service history for the mileage claimed; at a median of 220,626 km, mileage matters.
- A mechanic has looked at the car on a lift before you agree a price. Mechanics can be found through Glatko's automotive services.
- The price and the car's details are written in a contract, with the signatures certified by a notary, because you need it to transfer the car.
