From 1 February 2026 the municipal company Čistoća Podgorica charges households for waste collection at 0.075 euros per square metre of living space, before VAT, under the price list of 12 December 2025. For a 60 m² flat that is 4.50 euros a month before VAT. You check your bill on the Čistoća website with your customer code and name, pay at collection points, at the post office or by bank transfer, and you can repay arrears by paying 20% up front and the rest in 12 instalments.

What does a household pay for waste collection?

- For individuals the charge is based on the floor area of the home, at 0.075 euros per m² with a correction factor of 1.
- The price list states all prices before VAT.
- The price list applies from 1 February 2026 and replaced the price list of 31 May 2022.
- On the Čistoća website the bill shows the current month together with any earlier debt.
What do tourist apartments and hospitality businesses pay?
- For users who are not individuals the price depends on the activity and floor area, through a correction factor of up to 10.
- Hotels, tourist apartments and other accommodation, as well as cafés and restaurants, pay 0.67 euros per m² up to 40 m², 0.60 euros from 41 to 150 m² and 0.52 euros from 151 to 300 m².
- Travel agencies and rent-a-car firms pay 0.47 euros per m², and beaches and bathing areas 0.75 euros per m².
- All these prices are also before VAT.
How do you check the bill?
- On the bill check page you enter your customer code and name and see the amount for the current month and any earlier debt.
- You enter the same customer code as the payment reference when you pay the bill by bank transfer.
- Billing information is available on weekdays from 7:00 to 15:00 on 020/625-415, 020/624-241, 067/609-599 and 067/609-399.
- The billing department receives customers at Oktobarske revolucije 124 and Zetskih vladara 4.
Where do you pay the bill?
- At the collection points at Oktobarske revolucije 124 and Zetskih vladara 4, from 7:00 to 15:00, with a break from 10:00 to 10:30.
- At TC Forum on Avda Međedovića, TC Bazar on Blaža Jovanovića and PC Gintaš, on weekdays from 7:00 to 14:00 and on Saturdays from 7:00 to 12:00.
- At Pošta Crne Gore counters and with Čistoća's collectors.
- By transfer to Čistoća's accounts 510-1038-30 at CKB, 535-8749-22 at Prva banka and 520-10348-71 at Hipotekarna banka, with your customer code as the reference.
How do you repay debt in instalments?
- You agree the debt balance and repayment plan at Čistoća's offices or by phone, from 7:00 to 15:00.
- When signing the agreement, individuals pay 20% of the total debt and the rest in 12 instalments.
- Alongside the instalments you must keep paying the current bills.
- A claim for cleaning services supplied to a household expires after two years, so check older debt before signing the agreement.
