You check your Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) electricity bill on the EPCG portal and app, or without registering using the subscriber or billing number and the meter number. You can also get your balance by SMS to 067 227 000 or with a free call to the 19100 call centre. You pay without a fee at EPCG counters, in cash or by card, and at Hipotekarna banka ATMs. EPCG asks you to file a complaint about a bill within 8 days of receiving it, even though the Consumer Protection Law gives 15 days for services of public interest. You can repay a debt in instalments of 20 euros, at most 22 instalments, if you have paid your latest bill.
This guide explains how to check and pay the bill, how to get it by email, how to complain and how to repay a debt.

- Download the form "Complaint, bill objection" or the form for failure to meet minimum supply quality and hand it in at the local Supply unit.
- EPCG's own page states a deadline of 8 days from the day you received the bill, while the Consumer Protection Law sets 15 days from receipt for services of public interest; file within 8 days and both deadlines are on your side.
- The trader must reply to your complaint in writing without delay and no later than 8 days after receiving it.
- The bill must also show unpaid overdue amounts from earlier periods, with debt older than two years shown separately.
- At your request EPCG must send a detailed report on unpaid overdue amounts within 8 days.
How do you repay a debt?
- Under the "Podijelimo teret" scheme you repay a debt in fixed monthly instalments of 20 euros, at most 22 instalments, so a debt of 320 euros is repaid in 16 instalments.
- The condition is that you have paid your latest bill; while you keep to the agreement there is no enforced collection and no default interest is charged.
- Customers who are already disconnected can also join, but they also pay the reconnection costs.
- The bill subsidy goes, among others, to recipients of social assistance: 40% of a bill up to 60 euros, and 24 euros for a larger bill; for other groups the subsidy is 30%, or 18 euros.
- You apply for the subsidy at the social work centre, the local office for veterans' protection or the Employment Agency bureau, and an application filed by the 20th of the month applies from that month.
