In Podgorica medical certificates are issued by the Occupational Medicine Centre of the Capital City Health Centre at Stari aerodrom, Aerodromska bb. Under the price list the Health Centre still publishes, a certificate of general fitness for work costs 20 euros, one for A and B category drivers also 20 euros, one for professional drivers 40 euros, and one for seafarers 100 euros. Reception is on weekdays from 7:00, and when the certificate requires a blood test, from 7:00 to 9:00. The call centre on 19816 gives information.

- The Health Centre's board of directors adopted the price list on 8 July 2021, and the Health Centre still publishes it on its occupational medicine page.
- A full check-up costs 120 euros for women and 110 euros for men.
- The Health Centre reserves the right to grant a discount of up to 30%.

When should you come for the exam?
- Reception for medical certificates is on weekdays from 7:00, and the Occupational Medicine Centre works from 7:00 to 15:00.
- For certificates that need a blood test you come from 7:00 to 9:00.
- Specialist exams for all certificates can be done throughout the working day.
- On Saturdays the Centre receives employees of companies that arrange exams for their staff.
- The team includes occupational medicine specialists, a psychologist and an ophthalmologist, and when needed a psychiatrist, a cardiologist and other consultants.
Which certificate do you need for work?
- For a job without increased risk a certificate of general fitness for 20 euros is enough.
- For jobs with special working conditions, pre-employment and periodic exams cost 35 to 50 euros depending on the risk.
- For work with ionising radiation an exam with chromosome aberration testing costs 185 euros, and a periodic exam without it 85 euros.
- A certificate for the Armed Forces of Montenegro or for firefighters costs 50 euros, for lifeguards and divers 30 euros, and for court experts 35 euros.
- A colour vision test with an anomaloscope costs 20 euros.
What applies to drivers and firearms?
- A and B category drivers pay 20 euros for the test and licence renewal, professional drivers 40 euros, and instructors and taxi drivers 30 euros.
- A certificate for enrolment in a traffic secondary school costs 25 euros.
- The 2021 price list gives 30 euros for firearms.
- The new Law on Weapons and Ammunition requires an exam by a medical commission chaired by an occupational medicine specialist, so check the firearms certificate price on 19816 before the exam.
