Ski resorts in Montenegro 2026/27: Kolašin 1600, Kolašin 1450 and Savin Kuk, ski pass and rental prices, and how to get there

What does skiing in Montenegro cost? A day pass costs 25 euros at Kolašin 1600 and 15 euros at Kolašin 1450, and a joint pass for both Kolašin ski areas costs 30 euros. An adult ski set rents for 15 euros a day, so a week of skiing with rental at Kolašin 1600 comes to about 186 euros. The season usually opens in mid-December.

By 25 September 2026 the resorts had not yet published prices for the 2026/27 season, so the figures below are the latest published lists. Kolašin 1600 has kept its 25-euro day pass since the 2023/24 season.

Which ski resorts are there?

The two Kolašin areas are connected by the K7 chairlift and are marketed together as Kolasin Valleys, with about 50 km of slopes and a top point of 2,075 m. The Swissôtel Resort Kolašin, opened in January 2024, has 116 rooms with direct access to the slopes.

What do passes cost at Kolašin 1600?

People over 65 get 50% off. For passes of three days or more, families save 10% on the second member, 20% on the third and fourth and 30% on every further member. Residents of Kolašin, Mojkovac, Berane and Andrijevica pay 350 euros for an adult season pass, and the beginners' area costs 10 euros a day.

What do passes cost at Kolašin 1450 and for both areas?

Kolašin 1450 gives residents of Kolašin, Berane, Andrijevica and Petnjica a free day pass from Monday to Thursday. Under an agreement signed for the 2025/26 season, a ski pass bought in Kolašin is also valid at Jahorina in Bosnia and Herzegovina and at Kopaonik in Serbia.

What does Savin Kuk cost?

On its latest published list, for 2024/25, the Durmitor Tourist Centre charged 16 euros for an adult day pass and 10 euros for a child, 10 and 6 euros for half a day, 42 and 26 euros for three days and 95 and 56 euros for seven days. Night skiing cost 9 euros, and a season pass 260 euros for adults and 150 euros for children. Residents of Žabljak get 50% off, and residents of Pljevlja and Šavnik 25%.

What does ski rental cost?

A helmet costs 6 euros a day and a sledge 7 euros. A week at Kolašin 1600 with a 7-day pass and an adult set therefore costs 186 euros.

When is the season, and how do you get there?

The 2025/26 season officially opened with a three-day event from 12 to 14 December 2025. By mid-April 2026 it had lasted more than 67 days: Kolašin 1600 sold over 25,000 ski passes, with revenue above 1 million euros, and Žabljak took about 225,000 euros from ski passes, the Minister of Tourism told Parliament.

From 15 November to 1 April every vehicle driving on snow or ice must have winter tyres on all wheels, with at least 4 mm of tread. Kolašin is about an hour from Podgorica on the motorway, whose toll is explained in our guide to motorway tolls in Montenegro. Without a car, 14 buses a day run from Podgorica to Kolašin for 6 to 9 euros, and only 3 to Žabljak, as listed in our guide to buses in Montenegro; Kolašin also has a station on the Bar–Belgrade railway.
