What to see in the Old Town?
- The Customs House works as a visitor centre with an augmented reality system for six buildings.
- The Archbishop's Palace now houses the Archaeological Museum of the city of Bar.
- The Church of St Catherine and the Church of St Veneranda are among the medieval churches that have been conserved and restored.
- The town also has a hammam, a creative hub and the remains of palaces, vaults and olive mills.
- Outside the walls stands an aqueduct from the late 16th and early 17th century that supplied Stari Bar with drinking water.
- Cliffs protect the town to the east and south, and ramparts to the northwest.
What to see around Stari Bar and in Bar?
- Below the ramparts lie the bazaar and the lower town, which are also protected as a cultural monument.
- At Mirovica grows the Old Olive Tree, one of the oldest olive trees in the world at more than 2,000 years old, which is a natural monument and part of the Local History Museum.
- King Nikola's Palace in Topolica was built in 1885, and the Local History Museum has been housed there since 1960.
- The palace complex consists of the Great Palace, the Small Palace, the Court Chapel and the Winter Garden, and the palace park is a protected natural site.
