- The prices come from the price list published by the Capital City, and in September 2026 "Putevi" confirmed that a single ticket still costs 90 cents and is valid for 90 minutes.
- A monthly pass is valid on all lines and with all carriers for 30 days from the day of purchase.
- Pensioners registered in Podgorica do not need to buy a monthly pass because they are entitled to free travel.

- The Capital City Assembly introduced free travel for pensioners and other vulnerable groups by a decision of 3 July 2025, and applications have been accepted since 16 July 2025.
- Foreigners with approved permanent residence in Podgorica are also entitled, because the decision requires residence or approved permanent residence.
- Free travel for pupils is based on a separate 2023 decision, and for the 2025/26 school year it applied from 1 September 2025.
- University students do not ride free under these decisions and pay 25 euros for a monthly pass.
How do you get the free travel card?
- You apply in person at the counter in the Capital City Assembly building, entrance from Independence Square, on weekdays and Saturdays between 8 and 15 h.
- Staff take your photo on the spot and issue a card with your name and photo.
- Pensioners show their ID card and bring the original Pension Fund certificate and a certificate of residence or permanent residence in Podgorica.
- For pupils you bring an identity document and the original school attendance certificate, and the counter obtains the certificate of residence itself.
- You validate the card on every ride or show it to the inspector.
- Each new card requires the same documents, and a lost card can be reissued with a copy of your ID card and the original status certificate.

- On line L3 buses leave on weekdays from 6:00 to 22:20, every 30 to 40 minutes, and less often at weekends.
- In September 2026 "Putevi" said it has 89 buses, 64 of which run every day.
- The timetable and stops of each line are published on the operator's website, and buses can also be tracked on Google Maps.
- Intercity buses to the coast and the north are not part of city transport; private carriers run them from the Bus Station.
