About Herceg Novi
Herceg Novi lies at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, near the border with Croatia, and after Bar it has the largest population on the coast. Its old town is guarded by the Kanli Kula and Forte Mare fortresses.
It receives many tourists for its size, but its large resident population keeps the town alive in winter, which suits longer stays on a quieter part of the coast. The Kamenari–Lepetane ferry is the short crossing of the bay towards Tivat.
